19. Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM)

The Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM) is an entrance exam conducted by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) for admission to various M.Sc. (Two-Year), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree, and other postgraduate programs. The exam is conducted online and is usually held in February. The test consists of multiple-choice questions and is held for seven different papers, including mathematics, physics, chemistry, biotechnology, geology, mathematical statistics, and biological sciences. Candidates who qualify for the exam can apply for admission to various participating institutions based on their JAM scores.
