The Union Health Ministry is preparing to begin the ‘Ayushman Bhav’ plan, a revolutionary undertaking intended at achieving full and saturation coverage of all federal and state government health services. The goal is to reach every intended recipient, including those in the most remote locations, and make healthcare available to everyone. Among the activities in the program are ‘Ayushman Apke Dwar 3.0,’ ‘Ayushman Sabha,’ ‘Ayushman Mela,’ and ‘Ayushman Gram.’ The government hopes to raise knowledge of health insurance programs, stimulate the use of screening services, and improve healthcare facilities for underserved populations through these efforts.
Ayushman Apke Dwar 3.0: The Final Mile
Ayushman Apke Dwar 3.0 is an important part of the Ayushman Bhav program. This phase will begin on August 1st and will focus on an intensified campaign to secure complete penetration of health-care plans. The administration intends to leave no stone unturned in ensuring that every qualified person receives healthcare benefits. The health ministry hopes that by launching this effort, it would be able to remove the hurdles that hinder people from accessing health care, particularly in rural regions.
Empowering Village-Level Committees Through Ayushman Sabha
The Ayushman Sabha campaign will be carried out at the local level by the community health, sanitation, and nutrition committee. This initiative seeks to guarantee that all health-care programs, both national and state, reach their intended beneficiaries in rural regions. Village sabhas would be critical in raising awareness of the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) health insurance plan cards. In addition, the committee would generate Ayushman Bharat Health Accounts (ABHA) numbers, which will make it simpler for recipients to receive healthcare services.
Ayushman Mela is being used to raise awareness.
Ayushman Mela is the third pillar of the Ayushman Bhav program. It will take held in AB-HWCs (Ayushman Bharat Health and Wellness Centres). These melas will be used to raise awareness about healthy behaviours and provide early diagnosis through screening. In addition, full primary health care services, including access to vital medications and diagnostics, would be offered. The government intends to employ teleconsultation with health professionals and appropriate referrals to provide a continuum of treatment, with a specific focus on marginalised groups.
Ayushman Gram Provides 100% Coverage
Ayushman Gram, the fourth pillar, has a critical mission: to attain 100 percent coverage of health-care plans. This includes the distribution of PMJAY cards, the creation of ABHA IDs, immunisation coverage, and NCD screening. Villages that effectively implement all of the programs will be recognised as ‘Ayushman Grams’ and will earn a certificate for their outstanding achievements in healthcare outreach.
The ‘Ayushman Bhav’ plan is an important step towards providing healthcare to all residents. The government intends to overcome the gap in healthcare accessibility and offer vital medical services even in the most distant places by assuring broad coverage of health plans. These activities will raise awareness while also empowering communities to take control of their health and well-being. The government aspires to establish a healthier and more resilient nation through Ayushman Apke Dwar 3.0, Ayushman Sabha, Ayushman Mela, and Ayushman Gram.
