Teaching university – the institution of higher education which carries out higher educational program/programs (except doctorate programs). Teaching university necessarily carries out educational programs of the second stage – master program or programs.

In Georgian higher education institutions offering bachelor’s and certified physician/dentist educational programs, admission is contingent upon successful completion of the Unified National Exams as stipulated by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. Similarly, in institutions specializing in Orthodox theology, enrollment into bachelor’s programs in theology follows a process whereby candidates are selected based on recommendations put forth by the Catholicos Patriarch of Georgia. This selection is also subject to Ministry guidelines and is influenced by the candidates’ performance in specific subjects of the Unified National Exams.

Georgian Visa and Residence Permit for Students According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, a citizen of a foreign country who seeks to enter Georgia generally must first obtain a Georgian visa, which is placed in the traveler’s passport (a visa blank) or is issued electronically (electronic visa). Certain international travelers may be eligible to travel to Georgia without a visa if they meet the requirements for visa-free travel.
Accordingly, all International students fall into, at least, one of the category of immigrants stated below.
Category 1:- Students who do not need Visa to enter Georgia
Category 2:- Students who need Georgian student visa (D3
visa) to enter Georgia.

Citizens of these 94 countries may enter and stay in Georgia without a visa for full 1 year. Visitors who are holders of valid visas or/and residence permits of these 50 countries may enter and stay in Georgia without visa for 90 days in any 180 day period.

According to one 18th century definition, which set the Kuma—Manvch Depression as the continental boundary, Georgia and the entire Caucasus fell into Asia.
