Under the direction of the BC Roy Committee, the Armed Forces Medical College, commonly known as AFMC Pune, was created in 1948. The college offers a variety of undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate diploma programmes in nursing, pharmacy, medicine, dentistry, and paramedicine. It is associated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and has received approval from the Medical Council of India (MCI).
