AILET 2025 Counselling Fee

The counselling fee is mandatory for completing the registration process. Below is the fee structure based on the candidate’s category:

  • General / Kashmiri Migrants: INR 30,000
  • SC / ST / OBC / PwD / EWS: INR 20,000
  • Admission Confirmation Fee (All Candidates): INR 50,000

AILET 2025 Counselling Fee Refund

Candidates who have paid the counselling fee but are unable to secure a place in any provisional merit list due to higher cut-offs will be eligible for a refund. The refund process will begin after 15th March 2025 and will be credited back to the same account from which the payment was made.

AILET 2025 Counselling

The AILET 2025 Counselling process is conducted in multiple rounds. After each round, a provisional list of selected candidates will be released, and candidates will need to pay the confirmation fee to secure their seats. Below are the steps involved in the AILET 2025 counselling process:

Release of Invitee List

After the AILET 2025 results are announced, NLU Delhi will publish a list of shortlisted candidates eligible for counselling. This will be based on the candidates’ performance in the entrance exam.

Counselling Registration

Shortlisted candidates must complete their counselling registration by filling out the required forms on the official NLU Delhi website. They will also be required to provide essential documents for confirmation.

Seat Allotment

Based on the candidates’ ranks in the merit list, seats will be allotted to them. This process will take into account candidates’ preferences, available seats in different categories, and their performance in the exam.

Fee Payment

After the seat allotment, candidates will be required to pay the admission confirmation fee to lock their seats. Payments can be processed using different online methods.

Final Admission

Once the fee payment and document verification are complete, candidates will be granted final admission to the respective programs.

How to Register for AILET 2025 Counselling?

Candidates who have received an invitation for counselling must complete their registration before the deadline. To register for AILET 2025 Counselling, follow these steps:

Visit the Official Website: Go to the official website of NLU Delhi at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.

Login to Your Account: Use your registered credentials (user ID and password) to log in to your AILET account.

Upload Documents: Upload all the necessary documents in the prescribed format. Ensure that the documents are self-attested and submitted in PDF format.

Pay Counselling Fee: Pay the counselling fee using your Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

Documents Required for AILET 2025 Counselling

Candidates need to upload several documents during the registration process. The required documents include:

  • Mark Sheets: Class 10th and 12th marksheets (for LLM: BA LLB or LLB marksheet).
  • Character Certificate: Issued within the last 6 months.
  • Category Certificate: If applicable (SC/ST/OBC/PwD/EWS).

AILET 2025 Answer Key Published, Submit Objections by December 10

AILET 2025 Answer Key: The master answer key for the BA LLB, LLM, PhD and MA examinations was submitted for release in parallel with the master question paper sets of the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2025. AILET 2025 aspirants who sat the exam can simply proceed to the website nationallawuniversitydelhi.in and log in with their application number and password to view the relevant key. The answer key termed as master answer key is for the examination of BA LLB, LLM, PhD, and MA.

In the case of the answer keys that were issued, there will be an opportunity to contest them, if needs be, until the 10th of December at eight in the morning. As per the official notice, there is a stipulated fee of Rs. 500 to be paid per objection placed by the candidate. Complaining fee paid and mainly if the complaint is valid will be returned back.

The examination will not have negative markings except for multiple-choice answers. The criteria set for negative marking is this: 0.25 x 4 = 1. This indicates that for every incorrect response, the candidate’s score will be deducted by 0.25. One failed answer will also incur penalties of one negative marking. Therefore, the four wrong answers would attract one penalty point. In fact, now a candidate will also estimate his/her marks using the answer key and the evaluation system.
