IIM-Bangalore’s Top-1 in India, 14 Indian institutions have been included in the QS Global MBA & Business Master’s Rankings 2025

Fourteen Indian MBA programs have been included in the newest Quacquarelli Symonds worldwide ranking for 2025, which was just announced today. IIM Bangalore, despite being the top performer among Indian institutes, has fallen out of the top 50 global ranking. IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Calcutta, and the Indian School of Business are among the top 100 Indian MBA programmes.

Three Indian MBA programs are ranked in the top 50 globally for employability, while a fourth program is also in the top 100 for this key indicator. IIM Ahmedabad’s full-time MBA programme holds the top national ranking in the Entrepreneurship & Alumni Impact category according to NIRF, with two other Indian programmes also in the global top 100 for this indicator.

QS assessed 60 full-time MBA programs in Asia, with India standing out as the most prominent hub in the region. It has 14 programs ranked, surpassing China’s total. Mainland China is right behind with a total of 10 programs, while Japan comes in third place with six programs.

Although IIM Bangalore and IIM Ahmedabad are ranked in the top 10 MBA schools in Asia, IIM Calcutta has fallen slightly below the top 10 list this year. The Indian School of Business holds a position in the top 15 rankings.
