The Government of Karnataka had given cabinet approval for establishment of Medical College with an annual intake of 150 admissions. Tender has been floated on 16/06/2020 by Health and Family Welfare Engineering wing. Work order was issued on 23/10/2020. By establishing the Medical College in this region,, health care delivery system will be improved in the region. By providing medical college the health scenario in the region will be greatly enhanced, which in turn will augment the per capita income.
