DME Gujarat: List of Documents Required for NEET UG 2023 Admission Process

The list of documents needed for the NEET UG 2023 admissions process, which will be handled by the Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC), was just made public by the Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat). This news is for the benefit of students taking the NEET-UG-2023 exam as well as those who are anticipated to apply for admission for the 2023–2024 academic year.

 

In India, aspirant medical and dental students must first pass the highly demanding NEET UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate) exam. The whole list of paperwork that applicants must provide as part of the NEET UG 2023 admissions procedure is as follows:

 

1: Qualifying Examination

• Standard 10th (SSC) mark-sheet
• Standard 12th (HSC) mark-sheet

 

2: NEET-UG mark-sheet of current academic year

 

3: Proof of Birth Place(List of acceptable documents (anyone))

• School Leaving Certificate (preferable)
• Transfer Certificate* (*certificate must contain place of birth; Also required for caste verification)
• Birth certificate
• Indian Passport

 

4: Proof of Birth Date(List of acceptable documents (attach any one))

• School Leaving Certificate 
• Transfer Certificate 
• Birth certificate 
• Indian passport
• Standard 10th (SSC) mark-sheet 

 

5: For Candidates Born Outside Gujarat

• Domicile certificate issued by the authority empowered by the Government of Gujarat 

 

6: For Scheduled Caste (SC)candidate

•  Certificate belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) issued by the authority empowered by the Government of Gujarat in that behalf 

 

7: For Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidate

• Certificate belonging to Scheduled Tribes (ST)issued by the authority empowered by the Government of Gujarat in that behalf

 

8: For Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC)candidate

• Certificate belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) and 
• Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate of the family, as per the prevailing policy of the Government of Gujarat issued on or after 01.04.2021 
• Note: Both certificates issued by the authority empowered by the Government of Gujarat in that behalf

 

9: For Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)candidate

• Certificate belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) issued by the authority empowered by the Government of Gujarat in that behalf on or after 01.04.2021 

 

10: For Person with Disability (PwD) candidate

• Certificate of Disability issued by the authority empowered by the Government

 

11: For local candidate of Ahmedabad

• The certificate of local candidate from the Dean of Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad (It will be issued only after publication of NEET-UG-2023 results)

 

12: For local candidate of Surat

• The certificate of local candidate from the Dean of Surat Municipal Institute of Medical Education and Research, Surat(It will be issued only after publication of NEET-UG-2023 results)

 

13: For Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) candidate

• OCI card issued by competent authority of Central Government of India (Only for NRI Quota admission)

 

14: Certificate Physical Fitness

•  Certificate of Physical Fitness in the prescribed form obtained from a registered medical practitioner (M.B.B.S/MD/MS) along with the undertaking 
• Note: Prescribed form will be available on official website of ACPUGMEC

 

15: Sons and daughters of defense personnel

• Domicile certificate of defense personnel issued by the authority empowered by the Government of Gujarat and Bonafide certificate issued by the competent authority 

 

16: Sons and daughters of IAS/IPS/IRS personnel [IAS/IPS/IRS] 

• Details of Original Posting in Gujarat State & thereafter current transfer order. 

 

17: Students who passed 12th from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya outside Gujarat State

• Passing marksheet of Std.1st to Std.8th issued from School Located in Gujarat State.

 

18: Students who passed std. 12th from Gujarat board of Union Territories of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli

• Std.12th Marksheet of Gujarat Board & Domicile certificate issued by the authority empowered by the Government of Gujarat
