GREAT EASTERN MEDICAL SCHOOL AND HOSPITAL, Srikakulam, established on August 2004, is the creation of our Chairman, Sri Rajyasri Bollineni. It is recognized by the Medical Council of India and was affiliated to the DR N.T.R. University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh from 2010. It was her dream to put up a Medical College & Hospital with modern facilities to cater for the rural population. This is the most modern medical college in the Srikakulam District of Andhra Pradesh, Providing education to the budding Doctors and State of the art medical health care to the local population, and also to those from bordering districts of Andhra Pradesh and Orissa.
GEMS Hospital has been serving the local populace with state of the art facilities such as ICU, fifteen fully equipped Operation Theatres, etc. and specialists from every faculty available round the clock at highly subsidised rates. The academic wing includes some of the best known people from every faculty to provide quality education to the students. Last but not the least, the institution is conceived, erected and administered by a group mainly comprised of doctors with a vision to develop it into a world class destination for medical education and health services.
