Established in 2009, Hi-Tech Medical College, Rourkela is a Semi government medical school in India affiliated to Sambalpur University. It is in Rourkela, Odisha. The college is a privately funded institute with autonomy to run its internal administration. Hi-Tech Medical college is both an educational institute that imparts undergraduate medical training and a working hospital that provides medical care to a large number of patients.

The HMCHR is founded with the single point aim of providing the best of medical training in these parts of the country. At present the hospital has 400 Teaching beds with state of the art operation theatres. Besides there are 20 intensive care beds with 24hrs with high-tech trauma care facility, serving a wide cross section of the community, belonging to every segment of society.
The hospital and college complex has been raised on an area of 20 acres under Vigyan Bharati Charitable Trust. The college is situated near Hanuman Vatika, R.G.H Campus, Rourkela – 769004.
It is provided with the state of the art infrastructure in terms of its block of buildings, which includes cozy, comfortable and well-furnished departments, laboratories, classrooms for students, separate quarters for staff and nurses, besides equipment of latest technological quality.
