- Section B will now consist of 5 questions per subject instead of the previous 10 questions.
- No choice: Students must answer all 5 questions in Section B, without the option to choose between different sets of questions.
These changes will impact how students prepare for the exam, especially for the Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions in Section B.

The JEE Main 2025 Admit Card will be released on January 20, 2025. Candidates can download it from the official NTA JEE Main website. Along with the admit card, NTA will also issue the JEE Main Exam City Slip in the second week of January. This will help candidates identify the location of their examination center.
How to Prepare for JEE Main 2025
- Understand the Syllabus: Ensure that you are clear on the topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (for Paper 1) or the subjects related to Architecture and Planning (for Paper 2).
- Focus on Previous Years’ Papers: Practicing previous years’ JEE Main papers will give you an idea of the question patterns and help you manage time effectively during the exam.
- Mock Tests: Take full-length mock tests to simulate the exam environment.
- Revision Strategy: In the final weeks leading up to the exam, prioritize revision and focus on weak areas. Practice more on Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions, as these are crucial in the current exam pattern.
