Admission Process at KIMS

Admissions to both undergraduate and postgraduate medical programs at KIMS are conducted based on merit, determined through national-level entrance examinations such as NEET UG for undergraduate courses and NEET PG for postgraduate programs.

Eligibility Criteria

  • MBBS Admission:
    • Age: The candidate must be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year.
    • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 12th standard (or equivalent) examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects.
    • NEET UG: Candidates must have qualified the NEET UG exam to be eligible for admission.
  • Postgraduate Admission:
    • MD/MS Admission: Candidates must have completed an MBBS degree from a recognized institution and must have completed their compulsory internship.
    • NEET PG: Admission is based on NEET PG rankings and specialization preferences.

Document Verification for MBBS and PG Admissions at KIMS

For MBBS Admission:

  1. NEET UG Admit Card & Scorecard – Proof of NEET UG appearance and scores.
  2. Class 10th & 12th Marksheet – Age and academic qualification verification.
  3. Transfer Certificate & Migration Certificate – For educational history.
  4. Birth Certificate – Proof of date of birth.
  5. Aadhar Card – For identity verification.
  6. Caste Certificate (if applicable) – For reserved category candidates.
  7. Photographs – Passport-size as per college specifications.

For PG (MD/MS/Diploma) Admission:

Andhra Pradesh NEET PG Counseling Process

  1. Online Registration: Candidates must register on the official NTRUHS website with personal details and NEET PG rank.
  2. Document Verification: Candidates submit original documents for verification at designated centers. Required documents include NEET PG Admit Card, Scorecard, MBBS Degree, Internship Certificate, etc.
  3. Choice Filling: After verification, candidates fill in their preferences for colleges and courses (MD/MS/Diploma).
  4. Seat Allotment: Seats are allotted based on NEET PG rank and preferences. The first-round allotment is followed by reporting to the college.
  5. Reporting to College: After seat allotment, candidates must report to the allotted college for admission and fee payment.
  6. Second Round: If seats remain vacant, a second round of counseling takes place. Candidates can change preferences and participate for seat upgrading.
  7. Mop-Up Round: If any seats are still unfilled, a mop-up round may be conducted for the remaining candidates.
