The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) in Delhi has announced that refunds have been issued to nearly 98,000 candidates who appeared for the NEET UG 2022 exam and were eligible for the refund.Â
By the end of March 2023, the refund of security deposit to eligible candidates who participated in the MCC UG Counselling 2022 will be finalized, and the list of candidates who have received the refund will be posted on the website https://mcc.nic.in/.
The security deposit refunds were sent to the same bank or card account from which the deposit was remitted. If candidates do not receive the refund within 10 days, they are advised to approach their bank’s customer grievance department. For candidates who have raised a chargeback claim, they are advised to contact their card issuer for a refund.Â

Since 2019, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has been conducting the NEET (UG) exam with the approval of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Ministry of Human Resource Development, as directed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India via a judgment. This exam is prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various undergraduate (UG) courses and is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination.
Under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) and affiliated with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in the Government of India, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is responsible for allotting seats in government-run/aided colleges and deemed-to-be-university colleges for undergraduate, postgraduate, and super-specialty medical and dental courses. This committee allows the allocation of seats online.
