Eligibility Criteria

MBBS Eligibility:

  1. Educational Qualification: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects.
  2. Minimum Marks: At least 50% aggregate in PCB for general category; 40% for reserved categories.
  3. Entrance Exam: Must qualify for the NEET-UG exam.
  4. Age: Minimum age of 17 years as of December 31 in the year of admission.

PG Eligibility (MD/MS):

  1. Educational Qualification: MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
  2. Internship: Completion of a mandatory one-year internship by the stipulated date.

Entrance Exam: Must qualify in the NEET-PG exam.

Andhra Pradesh NEET PG Counseling

The Andhra Pradesh NEET PG counseling process is conducted by Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences for admission to postgraduate medical courses in the state. Below are the steps involved:

  1. Online Registration: Eligible candidates must register on the official Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences website by filling in personal and academic details.
  2. Document Verification: Candidates upload scanned copies of their required documents for verification. The authority verifies these documents to confirm eligibility.
  3. Choice Filling and Locking: After document verification, candidates can log in to fill and lock their choices of courses and colleges based on preferences.
  4. Seat Allotment: The seat allotment process is based on NEET-PG rank, choices filled, and seat availability. Allotment results are published online, and selected candidates receive provisional allotment letters.
  5. Reporting to the College: Candidates allotted seats must report to their assigned college within the specified timeline with the original documents for final verification and admission.
  6. Upgradation and Mop-Up Rounds: Further rounds are conducted for seat upgradation and to fill remaining vacant seats. Candidates who wish to upgrade or participate in the mop-up round need to follow the additional counseling steps as announced.
