On April 20, 2023, the National Testing Agency (NTA) published a notification informing the public of a change to the category of the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2023 online application form. The second session of the exam has concluded. There were two sessions. Examinees who showed up for the exam were given the chance to contest their Answer Key.
However, candidates have voiced concerns about not being able to change or alter their Category on the JEE (Main) 2023 online application form. NTA has made the decision to provide candidates one more chance to change their Category on the JEE (Main) 2023 Online Application Form in light of this and in the best interests of the students.
Only the Category may be corrected by the candidates until Tuesday, April 22, 2023, at the latest (up until 11:50 PM). The JEE (Main) – 2023 official website https://nta.ac.in/ is where the correction can be made. After the specified date and time, NTA will under no circumstances accept any corrections.
Candidates should be aware that the benefit of reservation will only be granted to them once the relevant Counselling / Admission Authority has reviewed their documentation. The relevant Authority will verify the category-related documents during counselling or admission. Any candidate who is found to have submitted a false, phoney, or inaccurate document or provided false, inaccurate, or incomplete information in order to benefit from a reservation will be disqualified from further consideration. If admission has already been granted to such an applicant, the admission will be revoked.
Candidates should be aware that they can only change their category (if necessary). Other changes to the application form are not permitted. Candidates may also send an email to [email protected] for additional JEE (Main) – 2023-related clarification.
The candidates are recommended to take advantage of this chance and make the required changes prior to the deadline. After the specified date and time, NTA will not accept any requests for modification in the category.
