Admission Process

For MBBS (Undergraduate):

Eligibility: Must have passed 12th standard with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (40% for SC/ST/OBC).

NEET UG: Admission to the MBBS program is based on the NEET UG exam results. Candidates must qualify the NEET UG exam with the required percentile for eligibility.

Counselling: Candidates are called for counselling based on their NEET UG rank.

For MD/MS (Postgraduate):

Eligibility: MBBS degree from a recognized university and completion of internship.

NEET PG: Admission is based on the NEET PG results. Candidates must qualify NEET PG to be eligible for admission to MD/MS programs.

Counselling: Admission to MD/MS courses is also through centralized counselling based on NEET PG merit.

Documents Required for UG (MBBS) Admission

  1. NEET UG Scorecard: The scorecard from the NEET UG examination.
  2. Class 12th Mark Sheet: Original and attested copy of the mark sheet of Class 12th (or equivalent), showing subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
  3. Class 10th Mark Sheet: Original and attested copy of the mark sheet of Class 10th as proof of date of birth.
  4. NEET UG Admit Card: The admit card issued for the NEET UG exam.
  5. Aadhaar Card/Valid ID Proof: A government-issued ID proof for identity verification.
  6. Domicile Certificate: Required for residents of Puducherry or candidates applying under the state quota.
  7. Category Certificate: If applicable (for SC/ST/OBC candidates), an attested copy of the category certificate.
  8. Passport-sized Photographs: Recent passport-sized photographs (usually 4-6).
  9. Transfer Certificate (TC): Issued by the previous institution.
  10. Migration Certificate: If applicable, for students who have completed their previous studies from a board other than the one affiliated to the college.
  11. Character Certificate: Issued by the previous school or institution.
  12. Medical Fitness Certificate: A certificate stating that the student is medically fit for admission to the medical course.
  13. Income Certificate (if applicable): For students seeking any financial assistance or fee concessions based on family income.
