Reliance Foundation offering Postgraduate Scholarships 2024-25
About the Program
For over 25 years, Reliance has been offering scholarships to deserving students, driven by the vision of Reliance Founder-Chairman Shri Dhirubhai Ambani, who believed that investing in youth is essential for national progress. The Reliance Foundation’s scholarship programs have positively influenced the lives of 23,000 young people across India.
Since the 2022-2023 academic year, the Reliance Foundation has supported 5,100 students annually. This includes 5,000 talented undergraduate students from underprivileged backgrounds pursuing any field of study through the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships, and 100 of India’s brightest postgraduate students enrolled in select future-oriented courses in Engineering, Technology, Energy, and Life Sciences via the Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships.
Eligibility
- Open to first-year students in a full-time postgraduate degree program pursuing select future-ready courses in Engineering, Technology, Energy, and Life Sciences.
- Must have scored between 550 and 1,000 on the GATE exam.
- If GATE was not attempted, must have a CGPA of 7.5 or above (or a percentage normalized to CGPA).
- Applicants must be resident Indian citizens.
Benefits
- Up to INR 6,00,000 throughout the duration of the degree program.
Note: Scholars will also have access to additional engagement and development activities, including talks and workshops with global experts, mentoring and internship opportunities, volunteer work, and a strong alumni network, while joining a vibrant community dedicated to shaping a new India.
Required Documents
Applicants must attach the following documents with their application:
- Passport-sized photograph
- Proof of permanent address
- Current resume
- Marksheets for Class 10 and 12 board examinations
- GATE marksheet (if applicable)
- Official transcript/marksheet of undergraduate degree
- Bonafide Student Certificate from the current college/institution
- Two essays: Personal Statement and Statement of Purpose
- Two reference letters: one academic and one character
- Experience certificate(s) from work or internships (if applicable)
- Official Disability Certificate from the relevant Government authority (if applicable)

- Log in to Buddy4Study with a registered ID to access the ‘Online Application Form Page.’ If not registered, sign up using your email, mobile number, or Google account.
- You will be redirected to the ‘Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships 2024-25’ official page. Note that the application must be submitted on the Reliance Foundation’s official page.
- Complete the online Eligibility Questionnaire. If you meet the criteria, you will receive an email invitation with login details for the Reliance Foundation application portal.
- Log in to the application portal using the credentials provided in the email.
- Complete the scholarship application form and upload the required documents.
- Submit your application.
Important Note
All applicants must complete an online aptitude test as part of their application. After submission, you will receive a confirmation email with the exam date and time. One week prior to the test, you’ll receive links for both the final exam and a practice test. Your application will only be considered complete once you finish the aptitude test. Scores will be sent directly to Reliance Foundation, and applicants will not receive their scores.
