Sri Venakteshwaraa Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Puducherry affiliated to Pondicherry University was established in the year 2005 under the umbrella of Ramachandra Educational Trust, Chennai. First MBBS batch was admitted in 2007 after obtaining MCI recognition. We got the first renewal of MCI recognition in the year 2012 and next renewal in 2018. This Institution has 28 departments including various super specialty departments with MD, MS – PG coursers functioning in a full fledged manner.    

Each department is provided with adequate infrastructure, state of the art equipment’s and other facilities. In our Institution, we have talented, dedicated faculty members with vast subject knowledge and soft skills recruited across the country, along with the adequate supporting non teaching staff. This Hospital is equipped with 1100 beds and we have the surplus number of Outpatient & Inpatients in order to meet the requirements of the MCI norms. Regular camps are conducted and free treatment is given to the deserving patients.
