NTA to release city slip for NEET-UG 2023 today

The city slip for the National Eligibility Completion Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET-UG) test will be made available by the National Testing Agency (NTA) later today. All NEET-UG 2023 candidates who are eagerly awaiting the exam city information should take note of this important announcement.

What is the NEET-UG City Slip?

An admit card, which will be sent later, is not included in the city slip. The purpose of the exam city slips is to let the candidate know which city will host their exam so they may plan lodging or make travel arrangements accordingly. As a result, applicants are urged to often check neet.nta.nic.in for updates.

When is the NEET-UG Exam 2023?

The NEET-UG 2023 exam will take place next month on Sunday, May 7, 2023. Students are working hard to prepare for the exam as the exam date approaches in order to gain admission to the best medical institutes in India.

Record Breaking Registrations 

According to officials, a record 20.87 lakh registrations were received for the NEET-UG medical entrance exam this year, with approximately 12 lakh of those applicants being female. The NEET-UG entrance test is the biggest in the nation, followed by CUET-UG.

 

According to registration data, 20.87 lakh candidates—more than 2.57 lakh more than previous year—have registered for the important exam. With 11.8 lakh female applicants registered, which is 2.8 lakh more than male candidates, the gender disparity also exceeded the two lakh mark. There are 9.02 lakh male aspirants. Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra both have the most registrations.

Courses After NEET-UG

For admission to the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine, and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS), Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS), Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc) programmes, candidates must pass the NEET-UG entrance exam.

 

MNS aspirants need NEET-UG as well

Candidates for the Military Nursing Service (MNS) who wish to enroll in the BSc Nursing Programme being offered at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals in 2023 must pass the NEET exam. The four-year BSc Nursing programme will select students based on their NEET score.

NEET-UG language

The NEET-UG will be administered in 13 languages using pen and paper. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, and Malayalam are the languages from which students can pick.

 

Candidates for the NEET-UG can now begin making travel and lodging plans in accordance with their assigned city following the release of the city slip. This year’s exam will be more competitive than ever due to the record number of registrations.
