Revised Schedule for BSc Paramedical Entrance Exam by AIIMS Delhi

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi has just announced a revised schedule for the BSc Paramedical Courses Entrance Exam for the August-2023 session. The entrance exam has to be rescheduled due to unexpected circumstances. Exam Pattern and Time Limit for BSc Paramedical Entrance Exam

The BSc Paramedical entrance exam will consist of one paper lasting 1½ hours. The paper will be divided into four sections with objective type (Multiple Choice) questions: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. Each section will include 30 questions, for a total of 120 questions.

 

Candidates will be able to take either the biology or mathematics portion of the exam. Each correct response will receive a +1, while each erroneous response will result in a -1/3. Unanswered or marked for review questions will not be credited. It is vital to note that multiple responses to a question will be adversely marked, and unsolved questions will receive zero marks.

Seat Allocation and Merit Lists for BSc Paramedical Entrance Exam

Separate merit lists will be generated based on the entrance examination results for the following categories: general, OBC (NCL), EWS, Scheduled Caste, and Scheduled Tribes. The disciplines will be assigned on a merit basis, and the seat allocation process will be done online. In each category, the number of candidates summoned for online seat allocation will be four times the number of available seats.

AIIMS Delhi Reserves 123 Seats for Sponsored and Foreign Nationals in INI CET PG Courses

For admission to PG courses of INI CET for July 2023, AIIMS Delhi has reserved a total of 123 seats in the Sponsored/Foreign National/Bhutani National categories.

The process of seat allocation is as follows

  1.  Mock round (round 1) 
  2. 2nd round. 
  3. Additional rounds (if needed) 
  4. Open round (if needed) 
  5. Spot round (if needed)

 

The allocation of available postgraduate seats in participating INIs will be carried out through online mode only. There will be a minimum of two rounds of seat allocation, and an open round will follow. If necessary, additional rounds of seat allocation will be conducted before the open round. The exact timings for each round will be announced at a later date.

 

During the first and second rounds of seat allocation, eligible candidates who have qualified for admission will be invited to participate. The seat allocation process will follow the order of merit, candidate’s choices, and the reservation policies of individual INIs. These policies will include institutional preference, community reservation (such as OBC, SC, ST, EWS, etc.), and PwBD reservation where applicable. The allocation process will be carried out through an Institute-wise Synchronization of Seat Allocation (In SAS) process.

 

If any postgraduate seats remain vacant after the open round, individual INIs may conduct a “Spot Round” to fill them with the approval of their competent authority. The administration of INI-CET is the responsibility of the Examination Section of AIIMS New Delhi in consultation with nodal officers from all INIs. However, the rules and regulations of each participating institute will govern the admission and seat allocation process. The head of each institution will be responsible for administering the process within their respective institute.
