Eligibility Criteria 

To be eligible for admission to NBEMS Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, candidates must meet certain eligibility criteria.

• The eligibility criteria include possession of an MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognized by NBEMS or the repealed Indian Medical Council Act 1956, as well as a permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by NBEMS or the State Medical Council.
• Additionally, candidates must have completed one year of internship and obtained permanent registration with any State Medical Council.
• The recognition cut-off dates for the medical college’s MBBS Degree courses and compulsory rotatory internship must be as prescribed by the Medical Council of India (now NBEMS).

Admission Process 

Candidates who wish to pursue NEEMS Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology must follow a specific admission process, which is as follows:

1. After completing their MBBS, candidates must clear the NEET-PG examination conducted by NBEMS to be eligible for the 2-year Diploma course.
2. The counseling for admission to the Post MBBS Diploma Programme is conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee of DGHS, MoHFW, Govt of India based on the merit list of NEET-PG. This counseling is also used for admissions to various MD/MS/PG Diploma courses.
3. Once the candidate has been allotted a seat for the NBEMS Diploma course, they must register as an NBEMS Diploma Trainee for the respective courses.
