NBEMS Exam Date Announcement: The examination timetable from the National Board of Examinations (NBE) has been released. the NEET MDS exam will take place on January 31, 2025, and the NEET SS 2024 exam is set for two days, March 29 and 30. Aspirants can access the schedule on the official website.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the exam dates for several assessments, including the Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS) entrance exam, as well as DNB and SS exams, for 2025. Candidates can access the provisional schedule on the official website, nbe.edu.in. This schedule outlines the tentative dates for all exams, except for NEET PG.

Candidates may download the provisional schedule from the official website, nbe.edu.in. The schedule includes the tentative dates for all examinations, excluding NEET PG.

NBEMS has released the examination schedule, including dates for various competitive tests planned for the upcoming year, with the exception of NEET PG.

According to the board, the date for NEET PG 2025 will be announced at a later time.


These dates are provisional and could be altered in the future.

NBEMS stated, “Candidates are advised to verify the specific dates for the aforementioned examinations in the Information Bulletins or on the NBEMS website, as the dates provided are provisional and subject to approval and confirmation.”

It urged applicants to visit the official website, natboard.edu.in, for information bulletins, application forms, and additional information regarding these exams.

The dates for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE December 2024) and the NBEMS Diploma Final Theory Examination – December 2024 have already been disclosed.

The NEET MDS exam is planned for January 31, 2025, whereas the NEET SS 2024 will take place across two days, March 29 and 30.

NEET MDS 2023 Exam Results Declared: Congratulations to all Successful Candidates!

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery, also known as NEET MDS 2023, is administered by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Science (NBEMS) to applicants for admission to approximately 6,228 Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) seats at 259 dental colleges throughout India.

 

On March 10, the NBE released the NEET MDS 2023 results on their official website. The NBE had previously said that the results for NEET MDS 2023 would be disclosed on March 31, but they were actually released sooner than anticipated. The names of the candidates, classifications and scores are listed in the NEET MDS 2023 result PDF. The NEET MDS 2023 result cutoff also includes percentile scores that correspond to the percentile. The NEET MDS cutoff is the 40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC candidates and the 50th percentile for general/EWS candidates.

 

According to the most recent information, NBE released the NEET MDS 2023 results yesterday, March 10. The general category NEET MDS cutoff for 2023 is 272, while the SC/ST/OBC category cutoff is 238. On or after March 20, eligible applicants may download their NEET MDS scorecard for 2023. On March 1, the NEET MDS 2023 exam was given.

How to calculate the NEET MDS 2023 result?

Candidates must attempt 240 objective questions in the NEET MDS 2023 test. The NEET MDS result specifies a maximum score of 960 marks. For erroneous responses, there will be a 25% penalty according to the NEET MDS exam format. The following is the scoring system applied to the NEET MDS results.

The overall score of the applicants is generated based on the aforementioned grading structure and will be displayed in the NEET MDS 2023 result. The following equation determines the NEET MDS score:

NEET MDS marks = (Number of correct answers) x 4 – (Number of incorrect answers) x 1

Each candidate’s percentile is generated based on the marks they received in the NEET MDS results 2023. The percentile score for each candidate will be included in the NEET MDS 2023 results. Only those who have a minimum NEET MDS cutoff percentile score and above will be eligible to take the entrance exam. It should be noticed that NEET MDS 2023’s percentile and percentage are completely different.

  • The candidate’s percentile will be utilised to determine where they rank on the merit scale.
  • The percentile score a candidate receives on the NEET MDS 2023 will show where that applicant stands in relation to the other test takers.
  • A candidate who received a NEET MDS score of 100 per cent will have achieved the greatest possible score on the test, not the entire 960 points.
  • A candidate’s percentile score of 100 also means that 100% of other candidates received the same or lower scores.
Types of NEET MDS 2023 result

The NBE will assign different ranks to the nominated candidates based on the NEET MDS result 2023. The positions of applicants who passed the entrance examination will be listed on the NEET MDS merit list for 2023. These positions reflect how well each candidate performed in comparison to the other applicants that showed up and passed the NEET MDS 2023 exam. The various NEET MDS results for 2023 include

The 2023 NEET MDS ranking: The candidate’s position among all other applicants who registered for the NEET MDS exam 2023 is shown by their NEET MDS rank. Based on the scores listed in the NEET MDS 2023 result, the rank is assigned.

All India 50% Quota Rank 2023: Students who pass the NEET MDS test in 2023 with scores equal to or higher than the cutoff become eligible for admission. Those candidates will receive a 50% All India Quota rank in the NEET MDS 2023 results. The candidate’s exam results are used to determine their merit rank.

Rank in the All India 50% Quota category: The candidate’s category selection on the NEET MDS 2023 application form determines their All India 50% Quota category rank. Candidates from the same category are the only ones competing for this rank. The NEET MDS 2023 test scores are also used as the basis for allocating AIQ category ranks.

NEET MDS result 2023 – tie-breaker criteria

When two applicants share the same NEET MDS score, the rank or merit position is determined using the four factors listed below.

Applicants will be ranked higher on the NEET MDS 2023 merit list if they correctly answer fewer questions.

Better score: A candidate who earns greater marks in Part B of the exam will be awarded a higher position in the NEET MDS result 2023.

Incorrect responses in Part B: Candidates will be ranked higher if they can acquire fewer incorrect answers in Part B of the NEET MDS exam.

Age: On the NEET MDS 2023 rank list, candidates who are older will be ranked higher.

What after NEET MDS 2023 result?

The involvement of NBE in the process is complete after the NEET MDS 2023 result and scorecard are announced. The NEET MDS 2023 counselling will be done on behalf of the MCC by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). Candidates who have passed the NEET MDS exam will need to register on the MCC website in order to take part in the counselling procedure. Applicants must indicate their preferred colleges and academic programmes. The distribution of seats will take into account the NEET MDS 2023 result, merit position, reservation, and other factors. The NEET MDS counselling schedule for 2023 has not yet been made public, and it will be updated as soon as it is.
