Official Statement on the NIRF Rankings

Notably, the scope of “Architecture” has been broadened to “Architecture and Planning,” which now includes Planning-related programmes and professors in addition to Architecture.

Increase in the Number of Applications

The number of applications for the NIRF Rankings 2023 increased dramatically over the previous year. This year, a total of 8,686 applications were submitted, demonstrating the increased interest and participation of institutions around the country. This is a huge increase from the 7,254 applications submitted previous year, demonstrating the increasing competitiveness among educational institutions to be recognised for their brilliance.
