India Connect Visiting Research Fellowship programme awards two MSc students with fellowships

The famous India Connect @ NTU Visiting Research Fellowship Programme at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU) has awarded two postgraduate students of the two-year full-time MBA programme at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) with fellowships. Mohit Goyal and Nuhad Bardai, the students, will conduct research projects at NTU under the direction of their respective faculty advisors, Prof. S Viswanathan and Prof. Vivek Choudhary.

The chosen students will work on their assigned projects on-site, full-time, as part of the programme at the NTU campus. Regular progress reports must be submitted to their faculty supervisors as well. However, according to institute regulations, virtual fellowships are not permitted. With the India Connect @ NTU Visiting Research Fellowship Programme, students will have the chance to conduct research on the NTU campus and interact with other foreign scholars.

The TCI-IIMB Supply Chain Sustainability Lab (TCI-IIMB SCSL), a new sustainability lab devoted to the field of Supply Chain Management, is also being introduced by IIMB. On April 28, the lab will be officially opened. It is being established in collaboration with the Transport Corporation of India (TCI). The TCI-IIMB SCSL will concentrate on research concerning sustainable supply chain procedures and aim to create creative answers to problems faced by enterprises in this area.

The relationship between IIMB and TCI aims to close the knowledge gap between academics and business while advancing ethical supply chain practises. The TCI-IIMB SCSL will also give students, academics, and business leaders a forum for interaction and collaboration as they work to build a more sustainable future. The lab is anticipated to be a key player in determining the direction of the supply chain sector in India and abroad.
