Exam Format:

On June 3, 2023, the NORCET 2023 exam will be given in an online computer-based method. There will be 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) on the three-hour exam, totaling 200 marks. Each question will have four possible answers, and each erroneous response will result in a 1/3 score deduction. Candidates from the UR/EWS category must obtain at least 50% marks, 45% for OBC candidates, and 40% for SC/ST candidates in order to be eligible for the recruitment examination. In addition, regardless of their category, candidates from the PWBD category will receive an additional 5% relaxation.

Carrying forward and backlog openings may be filled by applicants other than PWDs if there are no appropriate PWBD candidates available.

PWBD included total openings to be filled horizontally across several categories for AIIMS Guwahati and Manglagiri. According to the resolution made at the CIB’s fourth meeting, which was held on July 27, 2019, 80% of seats are designated for women and 20% for men.
