JEE Advanced 2023 Registration: 2.50 Lakh Students are Eligible.

The NTA revealed the JEE Main 2023 results on Saturday. Because of the normal number of question papers, the cutoff marks have increased this year. The cutoff for the general group increased by around 2%. The OBC-NCL, EWS, SC, and ST cutoff marks increased by 6%, 12%, 8%, and 11%, respectively. The exam was held in two shifts from April 6 to April 15.

There were 11,13,325 participants in total who took the exam, with 75,000 from Bihar. This year,  2.50 lakh of these students are eligible to sit for the JEE Advanced exam, and 14,000 Bihar candidates are eligible to take the JEE Advanced. The registration period for JEE Advanced began on April 30 and will end on May 7. The exam is set for June 4 at IIT Guwahati.

Process of JEE Advanced Registration

The registration period for JEE Advanced began on April 30 and will end on May 7. 

Students can enroll in JEE Advanced by going to the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. 

Only students who pass the JEE Main January and April sessions and obtain a top 2,50,000 All India rank will be eligible to take the JEE Advanced exam.

WBUHS opens registration for doctor of medicine and master of surgery programmes

Today, 27.4.2023, the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) opened registration for its doctor of medicine (DM) and master of surgery (MCh) programmes. The registration period is open through 26.7.2023 at 11:59 p.m. Candidates who are interested should register online throughout the allotted time. The college administration may also simultaneously secure college permission. All candidates should consult the “I Need Help Section” available online on the same website before continuing with the form fill-out/verification. For the benefit of applicants, the institution will offer SMS and Helpline services for the registration procedure.

 

In order to offer undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral programmes in modern system of medicine, homoeopathic system of medicine, ayurvedic system of medicine, unani system of medicine, nursing education, pharmacy education, dental education, physiotherapy education, speech therapy education, and other paramedical courses in the state of West Bengal, the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) was founded in Kolkata in 2003. The university just released the UG AYUSH course registration portal, and it will be accessible until 12/05/2023 (11:59 pm).

The significance of the DM and MCh courses

The postgraduate degrees awarded in the medical area are doctor of medicine (DM) and magister chirurgiae (MCh). Following the completion of the MBBS degree, students can follow the three-year DM programme or the two-year MCh programme. The programmes give students specialised training and in-depth expertise in a particular branch of medicine. Cardiology, gastrointestinal, endocrinology, neurology, etc. are among the many fields where DM courses are offered, whereas urology, neurosurgery, and cardiothoracic surgery are among the many subjects where MCh courses are offered.

Process of Registration

The WBUHS has begun the registration process for DM and MCh courses. Candidates who are interested in these courses must register online during the designated time period. The steps involved in the registration process are as follows:

 

  • Go to the WBUHS website (http://www.wbuhs.ac.in)
  • Click the  link “DM/MCh Registration” 
  • Include all necessary information, like name, birthdate, email address, etc.
  • Upload the required paperwork, including your MBBS degree and transcripts.
  • make registration payment online.
  • Send in the application.

Candidates must provide the required documentation to the college authorities at the same time as completing their application form in order to receive approval from the college.

 

Section “I Need Help”

All candidates must consult the “I Need Help” section located online on the same website before continuing with the form fill-out/verification. The registration process, the necessary paperwork, the method of payment, etc. are all covered in detail in this section. Candidates can call the helpline number or SMS the university with any questions or concerns.

Facilities for SMS and Helpline

To help candidates during the registration procedure, the WBUHS will offer SMS and Helpline services. Candidates are urged to turn off any DND features already enabled on their phones in order to prevent SMS failure. On the official WBUHS website, you may find the hotline number and SMS format.
