The College is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. The duration of the M.B.B.S course is four and half years (9 terms, each of 6 month duration) of academic Study and one year of internship. The course consists of 3 phases. Candidates are admitted to the Pre-Clinical Phase(Phase-I) of one year duration (2 terms) during which they study the subjects of Anatomy, Physiology & Biochemistry. At the end of Phase-1, they appear for the M.B.B.S Phase-I examination of the University. After successfully completing the Pre-Clinical course, the students enter the Para-Clinical Phase (Phase-II) of one & a half year duration(3 terms), during which they study Microbiology, Pharmacology, Pathology & Forensic Medicine.

The Casualty Department works round the clock. There is a separate emergency section of OBG department which is attached to labor room. The casualty is equipped with 30 beds having Central Oxygen Supply, Central Suction, Defibrillator, Pulse Oximeter., Ambo Bag, Disaster Trolley and Crash Carts. It is connected to an emergency operation theatre which is filly equipped with Anesthesia, Resuscitation and Surgical equipment’s.
The Oxford Medical College, Hospital has spacious OPD to facilitate health care for all kinds of people. All the departments like General Medicine, General surgery, Orthopedics, OBG, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Dermatology, Pulmonary Medicine and Psychiatry have their OPD facilities. Clinical demonstration rooms are adjacent to OPD.
The ICU at TOMCH Caters to many specialities such as general medicine, general surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, accidental and emergence care, pulmonology
The intensive care comprises of various forms of life support and organ specific supportive care like endotracheal intubation ‘ mechanical ventilation /non invasive ventilation use of vasoactive drugs / Dialysis/Enteral and parenteral feeding (TPN) etc..
TOMCH ICU is 15 bedded ICU which includes medical/ surgical ICU with 5 beds each
