The 850 bedded Chittoor Government district Hospital is now taken over and administered by Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Chittoor. The new upgraded has state of art facilities with ICU’s, Casualty, Labs of International Standards for students to get hands on experience. The hospital covers over 21 disciplines of Medical & Surgical specialties.
Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Chittoor took Chittoor Government District Hospital for 33 years in Sep 2015 with 410 teaching beds. The Hospital led by a dynamic Medical Superintendent Dr. M. Uma Maheswar Rao. The hospital is having well equipped Casualty, ICU complex working round the clock. The students will have abundant clinical material. The hospital is having well equipped six OT’s, Labour complex etc.
