Eligibility Criteria for COMEDK UGET 2025

Candidates who are Indian Citizens, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) can appear for the COMEDK UGET 2025 Entrance Examination. However, OCI and PIO cardholders must obtain an eligibility certificate from the affiliating university (Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi) before making the exam application.

Eligibility for UG Engineering Courses:

•    Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the second PUC (Pre-University Course) or 10+2 Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination recognized by the State/Central Government. The last two years of study should include Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, with English as a compulsory subject.

•    Minimum Marks:

o    General Merit Candidates: Must have a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (40% for SC, ST, and OBC candidates from Karnataka).

o    Candidates should have passed Physics, Mathematics, and one of the following optional subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, or Electronics individually.

•    Exam Attempt: An attempt in the COMEDK Entrance Test is considered sufficient to figure in the rank list. There is no lateral entry for diploma holders.

COMEDK UGET 2025 Test 

The COMEDK UGET 2025 exam will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The test is designed to evaluate candidates' knowledge in the following subjects:

•    Physics: 60 MCQs

•    Chemistry: 60 MCQs

•    Mathematics: 60 MCQs

•    Total Number of Questions: 180

•    Duration: 3 hours (180 minutes)

•    Medium of Examination: English

•    Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark.

•    Negative Marking: There is no negative marking for wrong answers.

COMEDK UGET 2025 Syllabus

The syllabus for the COMEDK UGET 2025 exam is based on the 2nd PUC syllabus or 10+2 syllabus as prescribed by the State/Central boards. The subjects include:

COMEDK Counselling Process 2025

The counselling process involves a series of steps that include document verification, choice filling, seat allotment, and fee payment.

1. Registration for Counselling

After the COMEDK UGET 2025 results are declared, candidates who meet the qualifying criteria are required to register online for the counselling process. The registration will be done on the official COMEDK website (www.comedk.org).

    Steps to Register: 

o    Visit the official COMEDK website.

o    Log in using your COMEDK UGET 2025 credentials (Application number and password).

o    Complete the registration process by filling in necessary details.

Once registered, candidates will receive a unique login ID and password for future reference.

2. Document Verification

Document verification is a critical step in the counselling process. Original documents must be produced for verification. Any discrepancies or failure to produce the required documents could result in disqualification.

    It is important to lock the choices to confirm the selections before proceeding.

4. Seat Allotment

The COMEDK seat allotment process is carried out in multiple rounds. Seat allotment will be done based on the rank of the candidate, choice preferences, and seat availability.

    The allotment will take place in rounds.

    First-round seat allotment results will be published on the COMEDK website.

    Candidates can check the seat allotment results using their COMEDK login credentials.

Seat Allotment Procedure:

    If a seat is allotted, candidates will have the option to either accept or reject the seat.

    If a candidate accepts the seat, they will need to confirm their admission by reporting to the allotted college for document verification and fee payment.

5. Reporting to the Allotted College

After the seat allotment, candidates who have been allotted a seat will need to report to the respective college for final admission.

7. Subsequent Rounds of Seat Allotment (If Applicable)

If a candidate is not allotted a seat in the first round, they can participate in the subsequent rounds of seat allotment, based on their rank and choice preferences.

    After the first round, additional rounds will be conducted, and candidates may get a chance to change their previously selected preferences, depending on the availability of seats.
