The National Medical Commission (NMC) has notified new PwBD Assessment Guidelines for MBBS Admissions 2026. The NEET PG Counselling 2026 registration schedule has not yet been released by MCC. It is expected to follow the NEET UG counselling process. This section will be updated as soon as MCC issues the official notification.
MCC Counselling 2026 NEET SS is conducted for 100% All India Quota seats in participating government and private institutions offering DM/MCh courses. However, INI institutes like AIIMS, PGIMER, JIPMER, etc., conduct separate counselling. The NEET SS Counselling 2026 schedule has not yet been announced by MCC.

To apply for MCC Counselling 2026, candidates must follow a structured online process. This procedure applies for all categories – UG, PG, and SS.
Step-by-Step Application Guide
1. Visit MCC Official Website: www.mcc.nic.in
2. Select Your Counselling Type: UG, PG, or SS
3. Register with NEET Roll Number and personal details
4. Pay the Required Application Fee and security deposit online
5. Fill and Lock Choices of preferred colleges and courses
6. Wait for Seat Allotment Result
7. Download Allotment Letter
8. Report to the allotted college and complete admission formalities.
9. Candidates opting for the “Willing to Upgrade” (Float) option, and who have already completed document verification and joined their allotted institute, are not required to report physically again to retain admission while participating in subsequent rounds.
10. Eligible candidates may also submit resignation online through the MCC counselling portal wherever permitted under MCC rules.

The security deposit is refundable only after the counselling process ends, provided the candidate has either joined or formally exited as per rules.

• Candidates applying under the NRI Quota must fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court and submit valid NRI/OCI supporting documents during MCC Counselling.
• Candidates seeking conversion of nationality from Indian to NRI must also comply with the prescribed eligibility criteria and documentary requirements.
MCC conducts four rounds of counselling for all categories:
1. Round 1
2. Round 2
3. Round 3 / Mop-Up Round
4. Online Stray Vacancy Round
Only registered candidates are eligible for the first three rounds. The Stray Vacancy Round is for candidates who are still unallocated but had registered earlier.
No fresh registration is allowed in the Stray Round for Deemed University seats. Reporting is mandatory within the timeframe for each round, except where the Float/online-verification option applies.

Candidates must bring the following documents when reporting to the allotted institute:
• NEET Admit Card and Scorecard
• Provisional Allotment Letter from MCC
• Candidates applying under the NRI quota in Deemed Universities can upload the required NRI documents online through the MCC counselling portal.
