 DASA 2025 Counselling

The Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) scheme provides an opportunity for foreign nationals, Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) to pursue undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs in various institutes across India, particularly in engineering and architecture. The primary aim of DASA is to provide quality education to eligible students from Indian-origin backgrounds and international communities.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for DASA UG 2025, candidates must:

    Have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, and one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Biology.

    Have a minimum aggregate of 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.50 on a 10-point scale in the qualifying examination.

    Be born on or after October 1, 1996.

    Have a valid JEE Main score.

    Be a foreign national, PIO, OCI, or NRI.

Participating Institutes

DASA offers admissions to several prestigious institutes in India. These include the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and other renowned engineering colleges. Some of the major participating institutes include:

    IIT Delhi, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, etc.

    NITs such as NIT Trichy, NIT Warangal, NIT Surathkal, etc.

    Schools of Planning and Architecture (SPA) in Delhi, Bhopal, and Vijayawada.

Dasa 2025 Admission Process

o    Confirmation and Reporting: After the seat is allotted, candidates must confirm the seat and report to the respective institutions for document verification and fee payment.

Counselling Process:
