Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for AP EAPCET – 2026:

a) Nationality
  • Candidates should be of Indian Nationality
  • Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)
  • Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders
b) Local Status
  • Candidates should belong to the State of Andhra Pradesh.
  • Candidates should satisfy the Local / Non-Local Status requirements as per the Government of Andhra Pradesh Orders for the academic year 2026–27.
c) Minimum Qualifying Marks
  • Candidates should have obtained at least 45% marks in the subjects specified taken together in the qualifying examination.
  • Candidates belonging to reserved categories should have obtained at least 40% marks in the specified subjects taken together.
d) Educational Qualification

(i) Intermediate Qualification

  • Candidates should have passed the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with:
    • Mathematics
    • Physics
    • Chemistry
  • Related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh, along with bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled from the academic year 2000 onwards
  • Any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh
  • Candidates who have appeared for the Final Year Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) and are awaiting results may also apply for AP EAPCET 2026.
  • However, their ranks obtained in AP EAPCET 2026 will be valid only if they pass the Intermediate Examination.

(ii) Diploma Qualification

  • Candidates should have passed the Diploma Examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh
  • Any other examination recognized as equivalent by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh
  • Candidates who have appeared for the Diploma Examination in Engineering and are awaiting results may also apply for AP EAPCET 2026.
  • However, their ranks obtained in AP EAPCET 2026 will be valid only if they pass the Diploma Examination in Engineering.
(iii) Age Requirements

a) For Engineering and Pharmacy Courses

  • Candidates should have completed 16 years of age as on 31st December 2026.
  • There is no upper age limit.

b) For B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering), B.Tech. (Food Science and Technology) and B.Sc. (Agriculture Engineering)

  • Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December 2026.
  • The upper age limit is:
    • 22 years for all candidates
    • 25 years in respect of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates

Age shall be calculated as on 31st December 2026.

e) Additional Eligibility for Pharm.D Course

(i) Educational Qualification

  • Candidates should have passed the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with:
    • Physics
    • Chemistry
    • Mathematics
  • Any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh
