Delta Medical College

A total of 1258 students have been admitted to the college so far. Of this figure 584 have qualified as doctors and 111 are undergoing internship. There are currently a total of 675 students who are undergoing academic instruction. Total 244 foreign students have been admitted. The foreign students studying at Delta Medical College are from USA, India, Nepal, Nigeria and Iran.Both in MBBS & BDS course out of them 56 foreign students of MBBS course have been completed their course. And 02 BDS students now in final phase. The first batch of foreign students after qualifying in the 3rd Professional MBBS examination are currently in the fourth year while the second batch completed 1st Professional MBBS examination. The foreign students studying at Delta Medical College are from USA, India, Nepal and Nigeria. 

A 350 bedded modern hospital is attached with the college. The hospital is well furnished with treatment & diagnostic facilities. Admission facilities are available in Medicine, Surgery, Gynecology & obstetrics, Pediatrics, Eye, ENT, Skin & VD, Orthopedics & Oncology cabins & wards. Twenty four hours emergency service & modern Intensive Care Unit (ICU) are available in this hospital. Out patient department (OPD) service is available with reasonable fees in the above mentioned departments from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm. OPD service is conducted by the qualified doctors of different departments & referral service by the specialist is also available on demand. The students from 3rd year undergo clinical training in the wards according to curriculum by the renowned specialists of the country.
