NEET UG (Undergraduate)

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate), or NEET UG, is the sole entrance examination for admission to undergraduate medical programs such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, and BHMS in India. Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), NEET UG ensures a uniform assessment for all medical aspirants.

Neet PG

NEET PG (Postgraduate)

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Postgraduate), or NEET PG, is the entrance examination for admission to postgraduate medical courses such as MD, MS, and PG Diploma programs. Administered by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), NEET PG is a critical step for medical graduates aiming to specialize in various fields.

Key Highlights:

  • Exam Mode: Computer-based test (CBT)

  • Duration: 3 hours 30 minutes (210 minutes)

  • Total Questions: 200 MCQs

  • Total Marks: 800

  • Marking Scheme: +4 for each correct answer, -1 for each incorrect answer

  • Language: English only

  • Eligibility: MBBS degree recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI), completion of a one-year internship, and possession of a valid registration certificate
