Introduction

Eligibility Criteria
To appear for the JEE Main exam, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Age Limit: No specific age limit.
Educational Qualification:
Must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
Minimum marks vary by institution and category (General, SC/ST, etc.).
Number of Attempts: Maximum of three attempts.
Year of Appearance: Should have completed 10+2 in the current or previous year.
Domicile: Open to all Indian nationals; foreign nationals may also apply.
Specific Requirements for Paper 2: Only for candidates interested in B.Arch or B.Planning.

Key Highlights of JEE Main 2025 Session 2
- Mode of Exam: JEE Main 2025 Session 2 will be conducted online in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, except for the Drawing Test of Paper 2, which will be offline.
- Compensatory Time: PwD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates will receive 20 minutes of compensatory time per hour during the exam.
- Exam Timing: The exam will automatically end when the time is over, so make sure to manage your time wisely.
- Entry to Exam Hall: Candidates must arrive at the exam venue at least 2 hours before the scheduled exam start time. This allows time for verification and other procedures.
