Different Quotas and Reservations Included
The final list shows candidates from multiple admission categories. Apart from the regular HP Quota, candidates are listed under Management Quota and NRI Quota.
The reservation fields include General, OBC, SC, ST and Economically Weaker Sections. The list also records candidates claiming benefits under Backward Area, Single Girl Child, Children of J&K Migrants, Children of Tibetan Refugees, Widows/Wards of Ex-Servicemen and Wards/Wives of Defence Personnel.
Management and NRI Quota Candidates
The final merit list also includes candidates under Management Quota and NRI Quota. Their NEET All India Rank and score are included along with their respective category details.
As the list progresses, Management Quota candidates appear alongside HP Quota candidates, while NRI candidates are specifically marked in the NRI Status column. The final pages also contain candidates with lower NEET scores across different quota and reservation categories.
Candidates Must Verify Their Certificates
AMRU has issued an important warning regarding category and quota claims. Candidates who have claimed reservation or a specific quota must ensure that all required certificates are valid, updated and in the prescribed format.
The university has also stated that provisional allotment does not itself guarantee admission, as eligibility and category claims remain subject to verification by the concerned Admission Committee.
Admission After Final Seat Allotment
Candidates should not approach the allotted college merely on the basis of the merit list. AMRU has specifically advised candidates to visit the allotted college or institute only after the Final Seat Allotment is declared and after downloading the Provisional Allotment Letter from their candidate login.
Final Merit List Contains 2,998 Entries
The published document extends up to Merit No. 2,998. The final entries include candidates from HP Quota and Management Quota across categories such as SC, ST and OBC.
The final recorded candidate has a NEET score of 177 and an All India Rank of 1,194,105.
Conclusion
The AMRU Himachal Pradesh Final Merit List for 3rd Round MBBS/BDS Counselling 2026 is now available. Candidates should carefully check their merit position, quota, category and NEET details and ensure that all supporting certificates are valid.
The merit list itself does not confirm admission; candidates must wait for the final seat allotment and follow the admission instructions issued by AMRU.
