The All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) is the national-level entrance examination for admission to postgraduate AYUSH programmes in India. It is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the Ministry of AYUSH, while admissions are carried out through the Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) for All India Quota seats, and by individual states for their respective state quota seats.
Every year, thousands of BAMS, BHMS, BSMS, and BUMS graduates compete in AIAPGET to secure MD/MS seats in government institutions, central universities, deemed universities, and reputed private AYUSH colleges - including AIIA New Delhi, NIA Jaipur, ITRA Jamnagar, BHU, NIH Kolkata, NIS Chennai, and NIUM Bengaluru.

Step 1: Register for AIAPGET
Fill personal & academic details, upload documents, select exam city, and pay the application fee on the NTA portal.
Step 2: Download Admit Card
Verify name, photograph, roll number, exam centre and reporting time before the exam day.
Step 3: Appear for AIAPGET 2027
Reach the centre before reporting time; late entry and electronic gadgets are generally not permitted.
Step 4: Answer Key & Response Sheet
Review responses and the provisional answer key; raise objections within the notified window.
Step 5: Result Declaration
Download the scorecard with total marks, percentile, AIR, category rank and qualifying status.
Step 6: AACCC Counselling
Register separately for All India Quota counselling โ choice filling, locking, and seat allotment. NTA has no role in counselling.
Step 7: State Counselling
Register separately through the respective State AYUSH Counselling Authority for state quota seats.
Step 8: Reporting & Admission
Report to the allotted college, complete document verification, pay fees and confirm admission within the deadline.
Government colleges remain the first choice for most aspirants due to affordable fees and excellent clinical exposure.
