About the College

Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College and Hospital, Pune, was established in 1988-89 and was initially affiliated with the University of Poona. In April 1996, it became a constituent unit of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University). The college is located at Dhankawadi, Pune-Satara Road, opposite Katraj Snake Park.

It's recognised by the Dental Council of India and accredited NAAC A Grade. The campus covers around 2,07,671 sq. ft. of built-up space with an additional PG wing, spread across a 5-acre site, and includes an open-air theatre and a 500-seat auditorium.

Since this college runs under deemed university status, BDS admission goes through the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), not Maharashtra state counselling. Seats are offered under All India Quota / Deemed University quota, along with Management and NRI quota.
