The candidate must have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in these subjects, or passed an equivalent examination recognised under the applicable regulations.
Relaxation in Minimum Marks
The bulletin provides a 5% relaxation in the minimum aggregate marks requirement for SC, ST, OBC and PC/PwBD candidates.
Accordingly, the minimum aggregate requirement mentioned for these categories is 47.5% in the qualifying subjects, subject to the conditions specified in the bulletin.

Candidates claiming SC/ST reservation must produce a valid prescribed caste certificate.
OBC-NCL Reservation

The OBC certificate must be based on the Central Government OBC list and should clearly mention the Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) status.
PwBD Reservation
5% Horizontal
PwBD candidates may be examined by the BHU Medical Board. The decision of the Medical Board shall be final.
