Note: NEET UG 2026 was conducted as a re-exam on 21st June 2026 after the original May exam was cancelled; the result and official qualifying cutoff above were released by NTA on 16th July 2026. Clearing this qualifying cutoff only makes a candidate eligible for counselling – it does not guarantee a government MBBS/BDS seat. The actual closing rank/marks for admission in Bihar will depend on seat availability, category and competition during UGMAC 2026 counselling.

Reservation Policy for Bihar NEET UG Counselling

Category Selection During Application:

At the time of admission based on the NEET (UG) 2026 merit list, candidates must select the correct reservation category in the UGMAC-2026 online application as per their valid caste certificate. At the national level, candidates who fall under OBC (Other Backward Class) are recognized in Bihar as BC (Backward Class) or EBC (Extremely Backward Class).
