Brahmanbaria Medical College (BMC)is a private medical college which began educating students in 2013. The college is located in Ghatura, Brahmanbaria Sadar Upazila, Brahmanbaria, Bangladesh, and is affiliated with University of Chittagong as a constituent college. This medical college is recognized by the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council. The college offers a five-year course of study leading to a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree, and a one-year internship after obtaining the latter. The degree is recognized by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council. Brahmanbaria Medical is one of the reputed private medical colleges in Bangladesh. This is first medical in the district.
Brahmanbaria district is located in the eastern part of Bangladesh. The college is located in Ghatura, Brahmanbaria, 4 km away from town. There is a strict no-smoking policy on college property. The hospital is equipped with an ambulance service and a hemodialysis unit which operates at all hours of the day. It has been affiliated with a 400 bedded modern hospital known as Brahmanbaria Medical College Hospital. Brahmanbaria United Nursing College & United Care Institute of Medical Technology are also owned by the same owner. The college is affiliated with Chittagong University. The chairman of the college is Dr. Md. Abu Sayed. The principal is Prof. Dr. Md. Aminur Rahman.
