CLAT PG 2026 Counseling & Admission – Complete Guide

The CLAT PG 2026 is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) for admission to LL.M. (Master of Laws) programs across India. Admission is based on CLAT PG merit rank and centralized online counseling managed by the Consortium.

About CLAT PG 2026

CLAT PG assesses legal knowledge, analytical ability, comprehension skills, and understanding of core law subjects. It focuses on practical application of legal concepts and interpretation of legal passages rather than rote memorization. For the Academic Year 2026–27 , the exam was conducted across multiple centers in India under a standardized framework.

CLAT PG 2026 Exam Highlights

  • Exam date: 7 December 2025 (Sunday)
  • Exam timing: 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
  • Duration: 120 minutes (PwD/SAP candidates: 160 minutes including compensatory time)
  • Exam mode: Pen and paper based (offline)
