CSAB Counselling 2025

The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) conducts counseling for undergraduate engineering and architecture programs in National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs), and other technical institutes. For the academic year 2025, CSAB will conduct counseling through three primary channels:

1. CSAB Special Round: Allocates unfilled seats in the NIT+ system after the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counseling. Candidates who have not been allotted a seat in JoSAA or have not participated in JoSAA are eligible to register for this round.

2. CSAB NEUT Round: Specifically for candidates from North-Eastern states and Union Territories, aiming to allocate seats in degree-level technical courses approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and universities for these regions.

3. CSAB Supernumerary Round: For candidates from Union Territories of Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep, Daman & Diu, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli, allocating supernumerary seats in select NITs, including NIT Durgapur, NIT Calicut, and SVNIT Surat.
