Admissions are based entirely on JEE Main 2026 Paper-I Common Rank List (CRL).
β’ No separate entrance test is conducted by DU
β’ DU uses only JEE Main CRL, not percentile
β’ Higher-ranked candidates get higher preferences first

When a seat is allotted, candidate must:
β’ Accept seat online
β’ Attend physical document verification
β’ Pay admission confirmation fee
β οΈ Failure to do any step leads to cancellation.
After admission, students can choose:
Upgrade:
β’ Seek a higher-preference branch in later rounds
β’ Existing seat automatically gets replaced if upgraded
Freeze:
β’ Lock current seat permanently
β’ No further upgrades
Physical verification is compulsory after seat acceptance.

Every admitted student can claim:
β’ Laptop Cost Reimbursement up to: βΉ50,000 or actual laptop cost (whichever is lower)
β’ Laptop invoice must be in student's name
β’ Purchase should not be on EMI
β’ Full first-year fee must be paid
β’ Application must be submitted within 30 days after admission closure

Withdrawal Charge: βΉ1,000
Refund: Admission fee refunded after deduction of βΉ5,000, provided withdrawal is before final admission deadline

If seats remain vacant, DU may conduct Spot Rounds.
β’ No upgrades during spot rounds
β’ Admission becomes mandatory if allotted
