Government Dharmapuri Medical College

Established in 2008, Government Dharmapuri Medical College is a government-run institution located on Nethaji Bypass Road in Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu. Affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University and recognized by the National Medical Commission, the college admits 100 MBBS students annually—85 through the Tamil Nadu state quota and 15 via the All India quota. The foundation stone was laid by the then Deputy Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on 19 January 2010.

About the Hospital

The attached hospital offers both outpatient (OPD) and inpatient (IPD) services, equipped with modern operation theatres, laboratories, and blood bank facilities. It has conducted approximately 3,000 surgeries under the Chief Minister's Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme (CMCHIS).
