Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT), located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, primarily offers admissions through the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPCET) conducted by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). However, if GNIOT has initiated admissions via Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) counseling for the academic session, the following general guidelines would apply.

Eligibility Criteria

• B.Tech (1st Year): Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, securing at least 55% aggregate marks. Additionally, they must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination. Admission is based on JEE Main Paper 1 scores.
• B.Tech (Lateral Entry): Candidates should have a three-year diploma in any branch of engineering/technology with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized institute/university/board approved by AICTE. Admission is based on merit/rank in the CET conducted by GGSIPU.
• BCA: Applicants should have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks, including Mathematics or Computer Science/Informatics Practices/Computer Applications as a compulsory subject. Admission is through the IPU Common Entrance Test (CET) or CUET.

Admission Process

1. GGSIPU Registration: Visit https://ipu.admissions.nic.in to register and fill out the application form.
2. Entrance Exam: Appear for the relevant entrance exam (JEE Main, IPU CET, CUET, NATA, CAT, or CMAT) based on the chosen program.
3. Counseling Registration: Pay the non-refundable counseling participation fee and register for counseling on the GGSIPU portal.
4. Choice Filling: Select preferred courses and colleges, including GNIOT, during the choice-filling process.
5. Seat Allotment: Seats are allotted based on entrance exam ranks and choices filled.
6. Document Verification & Fee Payment: Verify documents and pay the admission fee to confirm the seat.
7. Reporting to GNIOT: Report to the institute with all required documents for final admission formalities.
