The official schedule for the Haryana NEET UG 2025 counselling application form is yet to be published by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Haryana. Eligibility Criteria of Haryana NEET UG Counselling 2025

To participate, candidates must qualify for NEET UG 2025 and fulfil Haryana domicile norms (except for NRI/management quota seats).

• Must qualify NEET UG 2025 with the required cutoff percentile.
• Must be a citizen of India and possess a valid Haryana domicile certificate (except for NRI/management quota).
• Completion of Class 12 with PCB and English is mandatory.
• Minimum marks required:
  • General: 50%
  • OBC/SC/ST: 40%
  • PwD: 45%
• Candidate must be 17 years old by December 31, 2025.

Haryana NEET UG Counselling 2026: Round-wise Schedule

The counselling will be held in four major rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up, and Stray Vacancy. Each round has its own set of deadlines for registration, choice filling, allotment, and reporting.

Round 1 Schedule

Round 1 is the main round, during which most government and private college seats are allotted. Candidates can choose colleges, lock choices, and get seats based on their NEET rank.

Round 2 Schedule

In this round, candidates who didn’t get a seat or want to upgrade can apply. Fresh registrations are allowed for new users, and seat allotments are made based on fresh preferences and available seats.

Mop-Up Round

The Mop-Up Round is for leftover seats after Round 2, mainly in private medical and dental colleges. This round is crucial for students who missed out earlier or didn’t join their allotted seats.

Stray Vacancy Round

This is the final round where seats are filled at the college level. Only previously registered candidates who haven’t joined any seat can participate. No fresh registrations are accepted.

Haryana NEET Counselling Fee & Security Deposit (2025)

Candidates need to pay a non-refundable application fee and a refundable security deposit. The security deposit varies depending on the type of college and is essential to secure the seat.

This is a mandatory, non-refundable fee that must be paid at the time of online registration for each round of counselling.

Haryana NEET Counselling Security Deposit

The refundable security deposit varies according to the type of college you’re applying to. This amount is forfeited if the candidate fails to join after seat allotment.

 Candidates seeking MBBS admission in Haryana should carefully understand the applicable service bond rules before participating in the counselling process. The service bond is applicable as per the prevailing rules of the Government of Haryana and the competent counselling authority. 

Note: Candidates admitted to MBBS courses in Haryana are required to complete a 5-year compulsory service bond. Failure to fulfill the service bond may attract a penalty of ₹25.77 lakhs for male candidates and ₹23.19 lakhs for female candidates. Candidates discontinuing the MBBS course after admission are liable to pay a ₹10 lakh discontinuation penalty, as per the prevailing Government of Haryana rules. Candidates are advised to verify the latest official notification before participating in the counselling process.
