 Eligibility Criteria for Admission

For MBBS Admission:

• Minimum Age: 17 years as of December 31 in the admission year.

• Academic Qualification: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

• Minimum Required Marks: 

o General Category: 50%

o SC/ST/OBC Category: 40%

o PWD Category: 45%

• NEET-UG qualification is mandatory.

• Participation in UP NEET Counselling is required.

Admission Process for MBBS (UP NEET-UG Counselling):

1. Qualify NEET-UG with a valid score.

2. Register for UP NEET Counselling at upneet.gov.in.

3. Pay the counselling registration fee of ₹2,000 (non-refundable).

4. Pay a security deposit of ₹1,00,000 for private medical colleges (refundable if no seat is allotted).

5. Participate in choice filling & locking and select Heritage Institute of Medical Sciences, Varanasi as a preferred choice.

6. Seat allotment is based on NEET score and preferences.

7. Download the allotment letter, report to the college with original documents, and pay the first-year tuition fee.

8.  Mop-Up Round: Candidates who didn’t secure a seat in earlier rounds can apply if vacancies remain.

For MD/MS (Postgraduate) Admission:

• Academic Qualification: MBBS degree from a recognized medical college.

• Internship: Completion of a one-year compulsory rotating internship.

• Minimum Required Marks in MBBS: 

o General Category: 50%

o SC/ST/OBC Category: 40%

o PWD Category: 45%

• NEET-PG qualification is mandatory.
