The International Institute of Information Technology, Naya Raipur (IIIT-NR), established in 2013 under the International Institute of Information Technology University Act by the Government of Chhattisgarh, is a collaborative initiative between the state government and the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC). Located in the emerging smart city of Atal Nagar, approximately 23 km from Raipur, the institute spans a 50-acre residential campus.

IIIT-NR's mission is to create an institute of excellence in IT education and research, imparting knowledge through education, advancing knowledge through research, and providing exceptional service to the region, nation, and mankind, contributing towards the creation of a better, more sustainable society. The institute offers undergraduate (B.Tech), postgraduate (M.Tech), and doctoral (Ph.D.) programs in various disciplines of Information Technology. Admissions to the B.Tech program are conducted through JEE Main scores, with 50% of seats reserved for Chhattisgarh residents, 15% for children of NTPC employees, and the remaining 35% through JoSAA counseling.
