About the College

JSS Dental College and Hospital, Mysuru, was established in 1986-87 and is one of the older, well-regarded private dental colleges in Karnataka. It's a constituent college of JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSSAHER), Deemed to be University, and sits within the larger 43-acre JSS Medical Institutions Campus in Bannimantap, Mysuru, with about 5 acres dedicated specifically to the dental college and hospital.

The college is recognised by the Dental Council of India, accredited NAAC A+ (CGPA 3.47), and holds an ISO certification. It's consistently ranked among the top 10-11 dental colleges in India by NIRF, and the attached teaching hospital runs with 370+ dental chairs, which gives students a fairly high volume of clinical cases to work with.

Since JSSDCH is a deemed university, BDS admission goes through the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), not Karnataka state counselling. Seats are offered under All India Quota / Deemed University quota, along with Management and NRI quota.
